Some Figures For Month One
Tuesday February 07th 2006, 1:36 pm

Okay, that’s month one out of the way. Eleven to go.

Total revenue for January has come in at about £670 give or take a few pennies.

Just over half of the total came in the form of advertising revenue, just under a third from Google Adsense and the rest from a combination of affiliate programs, by far the most successful of which was Amazon. To be fair though, my website makeovers have concentrated on improving Adsense revenue and I have not been spending much time at all with regards to promoting affiliate schemes - with the exception of Amazon.

Still a long way from the £10,000 a month I am aiming for by December, but the potential is most definitely there for me to succeed.

And now that I’m on my way and have found the door to opportunity so to speak, I just have to remember that traffic, quality traffic, is the key to success.
