Total income for February was £1217.00 give our take a few pennies and I am so pleased to have reached the thousand pound mark.

Again direct advertising sales accounted for just over half the total, but my revenue from Google Adsense more than doubled and had February had the extra few days that other months enjoy I would have had enjoyed my first thousand dollar month with the program.

At the end of every year, Google send out a present to those who spend a lot or earn a lot with them. I’m not sure how much you need to earn to get onto Google’s Christmas list, but come December 2006 I plan to be on it!

I try to blend my ads into my websites where possible and generally prefer white background, black text and blue links. That’s what my visitors exopect to see so that’s what I give them. I have also found that link units - where a list of relevant topics are added to a page - far outperform ad units.

Still not really working hard enough at integrating affiliate advertising into my sites and so revenue remains negligable.
