$100 Day Milestone Reached With Google Adsense
Friday June 22nd 2007, 12:34 pm

When you add Google Adsense to your website(s), there are certain milestones that you want to reach.

The big one used to be breaking the $10,000 a month barrier which gained you entry into the “UPS Club” - the name given for those who earned $10,000 or more a month and had their cheque delivered by UPS. That was before the days of getting the money sent directly to your bank account.

Along the road to the UPS Club, there are certain milestones that we all have to pass. For me, earning more than $1,000 a month was an important one to pass and I’m now looking towards the $2,000 a month goal.

Another biggie though is the $100 a day milestone and I passed it for the first time this week, ending the day just shy of $115. I’ve come close before, but was really pleased to finally get beyond that psychological barrier. May there be many more to come!

So what caused the jump in earnings? A boost in traffic to one of my sites following a link to it in an article posted on a much larger website. The link was unsolicited - I wouldn’t have known about it if it hadn’t created a surge in traffic and earnings - but it proves yet again the value of quality links.
