I received an email earlier this week detailing a new Sun Bingo promotion that I was keen to run on my fledging bingo website as well as a couple of my other sites that attract a good number of people who no doubt play bingo (as do I when I get the chance).

The details of the promotion are that from the 5th April to Friday the 11th April Sun Bingo is offering anyone the chance to get a free £5 just from filling in an online registration form.

There is no deposit required, you can be an old or new player, all you need to do is fill in an online registration form and £5 will be transferred to your account.

Excellent banner creative was available from the 3rd of April - perfect for affiliates to get their sites ready - and the promotion is also being backed by editorial and advertising in The Sun - before and during the promotion.

All sounded great and as midnight approached yesterday I was busy ftping pages across displaying the Sun Bingo banners.

But I’ve just visited the landing page from one of those banners and there isn’t even a mention of the promotion on the actual website! And it is the 5th of April, the day the promotion is meant to start.

Instead of £5 free play with no deposit required it says “claim £10 free play - £10 deposit required”.

Now I know it’s early on a Saturday morning, but I would have expected at least a mention of the promotion by now and to be honest if it was my site it would have been all over the home page. It’s a fantastic offer and should do very well indeed in attracting players to Sun Bingo.

Fingers crossed the website will be updated soon - otherwise I can’t see any of the traffic I’ll be sending converting very well.
