My Latest Project – I’m Writing A Book

I really don’t know where the time goes these days. The weeks are literally flying by at the moment and I just haven’t found time to do everything that I want to do – and that includes keeping entrepreneur.co.uk up to date.

A few years ago I started to write a book about how to leave the rat race behind by working from home via the internet. It was based on my belief that society hoodwinks us into giving up our lives to work for others without opening our eyes to the possibility of alternatives particularly now we are living in the information age.

I had it two-thirds finished, but I still didn’t have all the pieces of the jigsaw puzzle needed to complete it. Basically the theory was good, but I hadn’t yet put much of it into practice. So it was left to gather dust in a file on my hard disk.

Over the last two or three years I have learned so much more by putting my ideas to work and so am now in a position to complete it.

I’ve been looking over and revising what I have already written recently and am now going to do just that. Get it finished and publish it myself. So yet another project to add to my workload, but one that has me really excited.

It will be called Get Out While You Can and I’ll keep you posted on a release date. It will mean that in due course entrepreneur.co.uk will be given over to promoting the new book and I hope those that have followed my progress over the last couple of years will not only buy it, but will benefit financially from it too.

Most of all though I’m writing it for my two children. Sometimes I think I’m the only parent alive who doesn’t want their kids to get a “good job” when they grow up. I wanted to put my ideas, thoughts and strategies for an alternative down in black and white for them so that when they are a little bit older they can read for themselves what their old man is constantly banging on about.

Anyway, I’ll keep you posted on a release date.
