I Wanna Hold Em’ Like They Do In Texas Plays – Pokerface.co.uk Is For Sale

That’s me more or less decided what I’ll be working on for 2010 – and it’s not been easy.

With only so many hours per week that I want to devote to work and more ideas than a series worth of Dragon’s Den, I’ve had to make some hard decisions as to what websites to work on and what ones to put on the back burner.  And of course I don’t make my life any easier by wanting to start a couple of new fashion orientated websites either.  There’s also one or two sites with great potential that I’ve neglected during 2009 and I want to breathe new fire into them during the coming year.

I’ll also have my book Get Out While You Can to promote and I want to devote some of my time to helping readers get moving with their plans too so that has to be factored into the equation too.

I can’t see myself doing anything as far as gambling websites go for the foreseeable future and so will be selling some of my gambling related domain names, including one that I think is the best poker domain that will come onto the UK market in 2010 – pokerface.co.uk.

As well as being very memorable, the phrase poker face has been given a real edge thanks to the Lady Ga Ga single of the same name that topped the charts in 17 countries, including the UK and the USA.  In fact, for TV and radio marketing, the backing track has already been written.  For a poker website targeted at twenty and thirty something professionals, pokerface.co.uk could well be the perfect domain.

I’ll be looking for offers in the £25,000 price range if there are any serious players in the poker or gambling business reading this.

My book, Get Out While You Can, is available now from Amazon.

If you would like to be added to the mailing list for my forthcoming book, Why Do Only Fools And Horses Work?, send me an email (info@entrepreneur.co.uk) with Fools And Horses in the subject line. I won’t pester you with lots of messages, but I will let you know as soon as it becomes available.

I know what you mean about ideas – I have plenty but always seem to drop things half way through, either to go back to something I haven’t finished or to start another! Next year I intend to finish each project before moving on. This should mean more money and less domains, and hopefully I can sit back and watch the world cup feeling like I deserve the break. It’d would be great to know how you get on with selling pokerface.co.uk

You make a good point Dean. One of the best things about working online is how easy it is to get a new idea off the ground. It’s also one of the worst things if ideas are aplenty and nothing ever gets finished! Will definmitely keep you updated re sale of pokerface.co.uk if I do sell it during the coming year.
