Cheers Dean - a little by little is good advice. If you lose only a pound a week in weight, that's 52 pounds in a year which isn't far short of four stone. Like the press ups idea too. Every time I feel the urge to go and get a biscuit I should do ten press-ups instead.

Happy new year to you too George -
This year I'm going to get my online income to a sufficient level to live on. Things are going well so I feel very positive! I have put a stop to buying new domains (though I bought 2 just half an hour ago!) until I have developed the ones I have.

I know what you mean about putting weight on, it just sneaks up on you. Fortunately I changed my lifestyle completely last year so I'm now on the right track. If I can give one bit of advice: Don't try and change everything at once, start exercising but don't start living on salads immediately otherwise it won't work. After a few weeks of exercise you'll feel like eating healthier foods naturally. I'd also recommend a regular commitment to exercise like meeting friends for football or a class, that way even when you don't feel like it you have to, but you'll feel great afterwards. Losing weight and staying fit is a marathon not a sprint, so try and do something every day, I often get down and do a few press-ups next to the computer, not killing my self just getting the heart and metabolism going. And keep up the belly blog lol!
