Plan B – Get Out While You Can

On the back cover of Joe Karbo’s classic book, The Lazy Man’s Way To Riches, it has “$1,000.00″ printed, followed by “Not the selling price but guaranteed to be what it’s worth to you – at the very least!”

Now that I am putting the finishing touches to my own book, Get Out While You Can, I’m very tempted to do something similar. At 384 pages, I believe it offers a true blueprint for escaping the rat race by embracing the opportunities that the information age offers each and every one of us. For some, I’ve no doubt that it will indeed prove priceless.

For those who have been waiting for its release, I am very pleased to say that final proof copies are now at the printers and I’m expecting delivery next week. They will then be sent to a handful of individuals who have agreed to give me their honest feedback on the book’s content so that changes can be made before the book goes on sale later this year.

I have had a number of emails asking if the book is about affiliate marketing. It is indeed, but it also covers so much more (in fact less than a tenth of the book is devoted to affiliate marketing). Other chapters cover Google Adsense, domaining, eBay, building your first website, search engine optimisation, and time management. Aimed primarily at those with little or no experience, I am confident that even those already working in these fields will benefit from what the book contains.

Central to the book is what I call Plan B. It’s a completely different way of looking at work and has the potential to totally transform the way we live our lives. It has worked for me and I’ve no doubt that it will work for others too.

I’ve never shared my Plan B with anyone before. It’s something that I’ve spent six years developing and yet it is simplicity itself. It involves working less hours for more money. You choose the hours you work. You even choose where you work from. I believe this last point will become of increasing importance over the next decade or two, given the future of economic and social uncertainty that lies ahead, but whether you share my outlook matters none. Plan B can work for anyone with a modicum of intelligence and a desire to forge a better way of life for themselves.

Plan A, incidentally, is working for the rat race. Doing so makes absolutely no sense to me. It never has. In fact, how we ever were hoodwinked into believing in Plan A in the first place beggars belief. Thanks to the information age, there is now a real alternative to a 40 year sentence of 40 hour weeks.

I believe Plan B and my book, Get Out While You Can (Geronimo Books),opens a window onto that alternative way of making money.

See you on the other side!

PS The mailing list for those interested in buying Get Out While You Can was closed earlier this year because it was full. I have had regular emails since from people who would have signed up, but found out too late to do so. I have just reopened the list to allow a further 100 people to sign up. If you’d like to sign up, pop along to the Get Out While You Can website. By signing up, you are under no obligation to buy the book, but you will be offered the chance to be among the first 1,000 to read it before its official release. Please remember you have to confirm that you want to join the list after signing up (you will be sent an email to do this). There are 148 unconfirmed people on the list currently who won’t be receiving details of the book.
