About

Hello. My name’s George Marshall and I’m a serial entrepreneur.
There. I’ve said it.
I have an MA in Social Sciences from the University Of Glasgow where I studied Economics and Psychology among other things. Just like all those PC people in the ads for Windows 7, it could be said that I invented Behavioural Economics.
I currently make most of my money by building and developing niche websites. Main revenue streams for me are advertising (including paid directory listings, etc.,), Google Adsense, domain name sales, and affiliate marketing. I’ve no real technical expertise which means if I can do it you can do it too.
I own just over 3,000 domain names and am slowly, but surely developing some of them along with my wife, Rhona. I do sell domain names from time to time, particularly if I’ve no immediate development plans. As they say, everything has its price, I’m an enterepreneur afterall, and I love a deal.
I’m also the author of a book entitled Get Out While You Can , copies of which are available now from Amazon in paperback and Kindle formats. The book offers an alternative vision for making money – my Plan B if you like. Plan A is the rat race in case you’re wondering. Plan B is how I spend my day. I am also currently writing a follow-up which has a working title of Why Do Only Fools And Horses Work? which I am hoping to have available from March, 2012.
When I can find the time, all of my developed domains will come under the umbrella of Spartan Media, a name that sums up my philosophy that you don’t need huge sums of money or access to vast resources to build a small empire online.
Interesting (or not so interesting) fact about me? I don’t own a mobile phone.
Oh, and my dog is also called George.

You can email me (not the dog) at info@entrepreneur.co.uk.
(If you do email me and don’t get an instant response, it doesn’t mean I’m ignoring you. I might be focused on other things. You might have asked me something that I need to think about or simply don’t have an immediate answer to. I could be on holiday. Or even in the bath.)
